The SumPak 4200 series is a duplex controller for two single phase pumps.
Each pump motor shall have a breaker and contactor for each single phase
pump, a separately protected control circuit with an alternator, hand-off-auto
selector switches and individual run lights for each pump. The alternator is a
plug-in type with LEDs indicating which pump will be the lead pump on the next
cycle. For ease in maintenance, it also features a lead-lag toggle switch for
locking the pump sequence.
Series 4200 SumPak panels are used in two pump, sump applications. The
advantages of this system are well known and include, equalized wear on the
pumps, added pumping capacity for peak inflows, and standby pump capability
in the event of lead pump failure or needed pump maintenance. The system
accepts sensors inputs from mercury, or mechanical floats, as well as
diaphragm switches.

Contactor............ IEC style.
Selector Sw.......... H-O-A Toggles 7A. @ 115 V., mounted inside on bracket, (See
Opt J for alt.)
Run Lights............Neon 5/16”, mounted inside on bracket.

on at once. Lead/lag sel. sw.
Enclosure……….14 x 12 x 6 Nema 4X fiberglass.
